Groom on Wedding Cake Chocolate Orange Cover Cosy

It’s the wedding night & this shy groom is doing his very best to cover his bits & bobs.

This is a knitted groom sitting on top of his wedding cake , that has been designed to cover a chocolate orange box. Once the chocolate is all gone, this item can still be used as a decorative item.

The cover measures approx. 24 cms.

The pattern includes instructions on how to make the groom & cake with a list of abbreviations. The pattern is written in English & can be printed onto 2 pieces of paper (front & back).

All pieces are knitted flat on a pair of straight 3.25mm & 4mm knitting needles (US 3 & 6). The pattern is worked using stocking stitch.

The pattern uses DK yarn (double knitting or light worsted weight); less than 25g (80 yards) each of light pink & Pegasus Craft Cotton in white for the cake. You will need some beads for decoration too.
