This is a knitted Gruffalo, that is designed to cover a chocolate orange. Once the chocolate is all gone, the teapot can be used as a decorative item.
The Gruffalo measures approx. 12cms.
The pattern includes instructions on how to make the Gruffalo with a list of abbreviations. The pattern is written in English & can be printed onto 2 pieces of paper.
All pieces are knitted flat on a pair of straight 3.25mm knitting needles (US 3). The pattern is worked using stocking stitch & also asks you to place french knots along his back & some i-cord.
The pattern uses DK yarn (double knitting or light worsted weight); less than 50g in each colour
