This classic cardigan is knit seamlessly from the top down and features a swirling lace stitch in the yoke which is worked with circular shaping hidden in the lace pattern. Sleeves stitches are placed on hold after the yoke is complete and the body is knit flat while the sleeves are later picked up and knit in the round. The button band is knit seamlessly along with the main body and a simple combination of purls and slip stitches prevents rolling.
