Hailey - seamed 12ply ponytail beanie

This warm and cosy 12ply ponytail or messy bun Beanie is worked in double moss stitch throughout. It can be worked in one or two colours.

This pattern is worked in rows, on a pair of needles, then seamed. If you like this cute beanie but prefer to work in the round, on a set of needles, without a seam, please see my Harmony pattern.

Pattern sizes: Age 2-5 yrs, 6-10 yrs, Teen and Lady.

To fit head: 52 (54-55-56) cm [20½ (21¼-21¾-22) ins].

Yarn required:

Two Colour Version:

Panda Magnum 12ply, 100g balls@185m.

1 (1-1-1) ball 1st Colour (C1-green).

1 (1-1-1) ball 2nd Colour (C2-red).

One Colour Version:

1 (1-1-1) ball Panda Magnum 12ply, 100g balls@185m.

Needles required: A pair of 5.50mm [UK 5, US 9] knitting needles.

Wool needle for sewing up.

Tension: 16 sts and 26 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over double moss st, using 5.50mm needles.
