Happiness Is

Look at the soft, silky sand at ocean’s edge. Look closer. Tiny grains, glinting in the strong sunlight provide a rainbow of neutrals—some pale lilacs, pure whites, clean taupes, even some indigo blues. Sifting the sand through your fingers, you are caught with an awestruck wonder. This world is so much more beautiful, so much greater than we imagine. If we only opened our eyes enough to see it like a child does.
