This is a chocolate orange cover for Valentines Day. The design is a hat with hearts with a felt pompom on top and a heart button attached to the brim. It is knitted in the flat with double knit wool on a pair of 3.25 / US 3 straight needles. Some knowledge of rib and Stranded/ Fair isle technique required for this pattern. There are written instructions as well as a chart for each colour combination. This pattern is a great way to use up oddments of wool and can be knitted within 1 to 2 hours depending on the knitters level of skill.
Sirdar country classic double knit wool in True Red and King Cole Glitz in Polar white I have used. A felt pompom and heart button. Tapestry and sewing needles. Invisible thread. Chocolate orange. One size only.
