Heart of My Heart Placemat II for Brava - a versatile crochet pattern featuring Brava Worsted Weight yarn in Valentine’s Day shades of Red, Rouge, & White. The Heart motif is crocheted in the round with a heart-in-heart bold Rouge center, surrounded by a deep Red outer heart & trimmed in a ruffled White border. The finished Heart is sewn to the Background that's separately crocheted in Rouge rows, then finished with White & Red edging rounds.
Ways to use this pattern: Placemat, Wall Hanging, Heart Motif Applique, Pillow
I designed this pattern for Brava Worsted yarn & it should work with similar worsteds. See yardage below. If you use a heavier worsted, you may need to adjust your hook size or, see my other pattern, Heart of My Heart, designed for Red Heart Super Saver, a heavier worsted. Looks almost identical but some different stitch counts & option of different background construction suited to heavier yarn.
