Hearts and Flowers is a crochet blanket pattern with 6 flower hexagons and a heart hexagon, in a beautiful, vintage inspired colour palette. I designed it in January and February, the bleakest months of the year, with thoughts of spring in my mind. Think roses, daisies and little drops of lemon blossom, with a splash of hearts. The colours are duck egg, lemon, white, red and shades of pink. The finished blanket is hexagonal with a border added after sewing the hexagons together. (Of course you can crochet them together or make a different shape, but remember that your yarn requirements will change.)
This pattern is for more skilled crocheters or those looking to improve, rather than beginners.
