Size 2: approx. 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches (4 x 4 cm)
Size 3: approx. 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches (4.5 x 4.5 cm)
Size 4: approx. 2 1/3 x 2 inches (5.5 x 5 cm) using the materials I used:
YarnArt Ideal - 100% cotton (1.76 ounces - 186 yards / 50 grams -170 meters) and crochet hook 2.0 mm
