I designed this scarf for a workshop. It uses a hexagonal motif with crossed stitches which create texture, and give it its name! The pattern shows how to make the scarf, but the hexagon can be made into a scarf, cowl, shawl or anything you like. The sample was made in The Natural Dye Studio’s Angelus 4 ply yarn, which is incredibly soft. The scarf I made measures 37cm (15”) wide by 180cm (71”) long when blocked. It can be adapted to any weight of yarn provided you use a suitable hook size. It is written in English and US terms and is charted.
