Knitted in Rowan Summerlite DK, the Hexi Blanket is a lovely lightweight summer blanket or cosy extra layer for colder months.
The small size makes a perfect baby blanket and the larger blanket is great for snuggling up on the sofa or for the end of the bed to keep your toes toasty.
The main hexis are knitted in the round and the half hexis are knitted flat.
Summerlite DK is quite a fine DK - so the Hexi blanket is knitted on 3mm needles to create a nice neat texture. If you are substituting for a different DK yarn I would recommend using a larger size needle. This will give you larger hexis/a larger blanket, but bear in mind that you may need more yarn.
