This lightweight cowl is worked sideways in a stitch that looks much more complicated that it really is. Only one color is used at a time – the hexagon shapes are created with slipped stitches.
Yarn Main Color: Approximately 55 to 70 yards Fingering Weight yarn Contrast Color: Approximately 70 to 85 yards Fingering Weight yarn
Note: Any number of colors can be used for the CC. In the multi-colored cowl, 3 colors were used, each taking approximately 25 yards of yarn. Each six row stripe uses less than 5 yards of yarn, so this could be a fun way to use up bits and pieces of leftover oddments.
