This scarf is light and soft around the neck. It is one generous size so you can wear it many different ways. I'm using just Knit & Purl stitches but due to the nature of the material, this pattern would suit intermediate level knitters with a few hours to spare.
The wool I used for this scarf is provided in the pattern, but it is now discontinued. Other lightweight yarns, preferably alpaca or blend, would work very well. You might find knitting with this fine yarn easier using bamboo needles.
