The Highlander Set was inspired by my love of the Outlander series. Knowing this seems a bit overworked and that there are thousands of knits out there based on or for this series, I wanted to do something both simple and striking. While on the face of things, this pattern is just a squishy garter stitch double wrap cowl with matching cuffs, the join and styling make all the difference. Sure you have the option to just matress stitch the edges together and wrap the bulk of squish close to the neck, but I hope you will find the courage to use the lacing (I love a good leather lace) and cold shoulder styling pictured in the sample to elevate this simple knit to fashion statement.
