Hillrose is designed to combine the visual interest of lace with a fullness of texture that lends it a more rugged, contemporary look. Size
Hillrose measures 71 in (180 cm) in wingspan and 31.5 in (80 cm) in height. However, a different gauge will easily result in a smaller or larger size if preferred.
Construction Notes
Hillrose begins with 4 stitches, and increases from the neck edge towards the edging. The shawl consists of the body worked in the main pattern and the edging.
Materials & Needles
If worked in DK weight yarn of two colours, you need 175 g of Colour A and 40 g of Colour B, US 5.0 (3.75 mm) needles, and stitch markers.
