Thanks to Liese Brouwer I have my first lovely customized boy . So happy that I designed this sweater with the blue waves and grey- blue whale to match with his eyes . I always love whale watching at Hermanus South Africa so I name my pattern '' Holiday Time'' .
DESIGNER'S NOTES : The sweater is designed to fit 18'' soft bodied dolls like the customized American Boy Doll and other dolls with similar measurements . I have knitted the sleeves first , then the body , then combined all the stitches to form the yoke . So the only sewing needed is the side seam of sleeves and the small area under the arms and of course to sew on the buttons . The hat is knitted flat with a back seam . I have included 3 charts : 1 for the dolphin motif and 2 for the waves big enough to easily follow .
