Lace. Cables. Ribbing. These mitts are the perfect combination of the three. Patterned allover, the ribbing keeps the mitts comfortably snug around your hands and wrists. Lace and cables flow organically from the ribbing, while the thumb gusset transitions smoothly from between purl stitches.
The mitts work up quickly, so make a pair for yourself and a loved one.
Note: The mitts are mirrored, and the the gussets are patterned too. I admit, that makes them a little more complicated than the average knit, but I think you’ll find the complication perfectly worth it. I’ve also wrote detailed instructions on how to create the specific increases in the pattern.

Finished Size: 5″ (12.7cm) circumference, 8″ (20.3cm) from cuff to cuff. (The mitts are very stretchy and can accommodate up to a 8 1/2″ circumference.)
