This blanket uses alternating single crochets and double crochets while changing colors each row to create the houndstooth stitch. One main color is used while transitioning 5 accent colors to create the appearance of an ombré/fade until your blanket reaches your desired size. Feel free to choose any colors you love; your blanket does not have to fade as the sample blanket does - bright sections of color would be just as lovely!
