The piece shown on photos is knitted in adult size, but if you would like to knit the same one for your kids - just feel free- its two different sizes in this PDF pattern : one for adults, and one for kids, You need two balls of suggested yarn for a knit a adult size . Skils needed: knit, yo, work with aran/cable, work with cable needle, purl.
