Ice hockey beanie

This ice hockey beanie is the result of a pattern request for a kid's ice hockey beanie for boys and girls.
I used three shades of blue, offwhite, two greys and black. The colors should be clearly distinguishable from each other otherwise the charts (e.g. the ice skates) won't come out that well.
The beanie starts with a corrugated ribbing.
Then comes the ice hockey field, followed by a band of ice hockey players. Above are ice skates, hockey stick and puck. At the top are 7 more tiny ice hockey players.

I used 4-ply sock yarn leftovers of different manufacturers. But you can also use Acrylic yarn of similar weight.
For bigger heads please choose 5-ply yarn and/or go up 1 or 2 needle sizes (3.25 - 3.5 mm).

Note: there are at most two colors in one round!

If you like you can add a pompon.
