Iken Mitts

I’m dreaming of warmer weather….but still stuck in cold reality! Add a pop of colour to dreary days with the Iken Mitts: their cosy warmth will see you right through to spring and beyond.

The simple chevron design on the back of the hand looks fantastic in hand dyed yarns, including self striping, microstriping and variegated yarns. Palms are worked in twisted rib for stretch and a perfect fit.

I’ve named this design after Iken, one of my favourite places in Suffolk, UK. It’s an old village where you can walk along the river through a nature reserve that’s famous for water birds, otter and other wildlife. I’ve included a couple of pictures of my dog enjoying the scenery!
