INTO THE WESTERN STARS is a delicate knotted openwork kite-shaped shawl perfect for dressing up or down, named for two baby alpacas I met and walked while wandering through Ireland in the latter days of summer. She is worked flat starting at the tip and increasing to the cross-points of the kite, then the central spine gradually slips over to allow for the geometric lace to shine.
SPECIAL TECHNIQUES
Special techniques include a simple geometric lace. All special stitches are demonstrated in the video tutorial linked in the pattern.
