Jimmy the jester

Written in US terminology. The finished toy is approx 32cm tall when made with stated hook size and yarn weight. To make Jimmy the jester you will need to know how to do the following:

mr- magic ring

ch- chain

st- stitch

sc- single crochet

inc- increase

invdec- invisible decrease

sl st- slip stitch

sc2tog- single crochet 2 together

FLO- front loops only

BLO- back loops only

Change colour

Basic sewing skills

Materials needed:

DK yarn- I used Hayfield bonus DK in Peaches (888)- light pink, Chocolate (947)-brown, Velvet plum (906)- dark purple, and Juniper (701)- light purple

3mm crochet hook

8mm black safety eyes

Thin brown embroidery thread

Stitch marker

Scissors

Stuffing

Embroidery yarn needle

Sewing needle

1 wooden skewer

2 pipe cleaners

PVA glue

Tape measure or ruler

Pins to hold pieces in place when sewing
