Jones Falls Cardigan

This cardigan features the same intricate-looking cables running up the fronts and sleeves. It is knit bottom-up, and you are given your choice of how many buttons you’d like to add. The name comes from the Jones Falls Expressway, which runs between where I live, and the dyer’s home in Pennsylvania.

Chest: 32(36, 40, 44, 48, 52) inches

Sleeve circumference 15.5(15.5, 17.5, 18, 19.5, 20.5) inches Length: 13(13, 13.5, 15, 15.5, 16) from cast on edge to underarm, [21.5(21.5, 23, 25, 26, 27] inches from cast on edge to shoulder seam

Yarn: Supercraftygirl Oasis DK [75% Superwash merino wool, 25% Nylon; 246 yards per 100 gram skein]; 4[5, 5, 6, 7, 7] skeins. Sample knit in LoveKnots.

Needles: US #6/4.00mm circular needle, 32 inches or longer, dpns or two circs to knit small circumferences in the round.

Gauge: 20 stitches/24 rows per 4” in stockinette stitch, both worked flat and in the round.
