Baby Set – PDF Knitting Pattern
Our Kaden Baby pattern contains knitting instructions to make a cardigan beanie hat and matching socks, featuring a textured pattern throughout.
The pattern is an easy knit and suitable for a beginner with some knitting experience of combinations of knit and purl stitches.
The yarn I used for this baby knitting pattern was a shade of Stylecraft Wondersoft Baby DK. I used a contrast yarn in white for the ribs, button bands and neck band – these can be knitted in the same shade as the rest of the cardigan etc.
Kaden is available in 3 different sizes 16”, 18” and 20”. Each size needs 1 x 100g of the contrast shade, the first size needs 1 x 100g ball of the main shade, and the other two sizes needs 2 x 100g balls.
It also needs 5 x buttons.
You will also need 3.5mm and 4mm straight needles.
