The Kaleidoscope Mandala Bag is of a practical size with a bit of depth and enough space for a mobile phone, wallet, keys, lipstick and even a small book. I used leather adjustable strap for this bag but it is also possible to make a crocheted strap for it. This easy to follow pattern (15 pages) is written for one size It contains step by step full written instructions in English using standard crochet abbreviations and US terms (stitch guide is given in the pattern). It also contains lots of pictures explaining all the tricky and difficult places.
Crochet level: Intermediate (Overlay crochet).
Materials: yarn in 8 colors (ruby, dark blue, light turquoise, white, dark turquoise, yellow, orange, terracotta).You can use leftovers for the front (mandala) part. I used DK yarn. (600 m/656 yards in total).
The pattern contains full version with lots of progress pictures, and print friendly instructions with text only.
