The intertwining cables on the body of the cape were inspired by the rain running down my window in the summer storm which coincided with the inception of this design.
Pattern has full written instructions only. Knitting skills required: knit, purl, cable, increase, decrease, knit on border, short rows, pick up stitches
If you are comfortable knitting cables the pattern is intuitive - more a marathon than complex piece.
The border cable is knit onto the main body as you go with the lower edge knit onto the live sts.
