These chunky mittens are a must have for winter walks and chilly days out, inspired by my favourite local walk which meanders along a muddy lane, through frosty fields, and squeezes through a kissing gate almost completely hidden in the hedge. Cloudborn Fibers kettle dyed yarn is a joy to knit and will keep your hands toasty warm. With a mock cable eyelet detail on the front they are fun and speedy to knit up, and don’t worry if you’re not a fan of working cable patterns, this mock cable doesn’t require you to hold stitches on a cable needle!
The finished mittens are sized to fit a medium adult hand, up to 7 3/4” diameter. The finished mittens measure 10 1/4” from cast on edge to the tip.
