Each design has a standard pattern followed by guidance on how to "play" with the pattern to make your project truly unique. Each pattern features swatches & suggestions for a variety of different yarns, & how to make changes to suit the comfort level of the knitter. (The suggested yarns are for the original patterns only - tips on yarn choice are in the book.)
