This cute little cupcake can be used as a pin cushion or purely as a decoration. It is worked in dk (lightworsted) yarn on a pair of 3.25mm (US3 needles).
Size: The cupcake measures approx 7 cm (3”) wide by 8 cm (3¼”) tall.
Materials: Use any DK yarn (light worsted/11wpi) that has a knit tension of 22 sts and 28-30 rows = 10cm (4in) over stocking stitch on no 4 mm needles. You will need the following amounts; 7m (8yd) in brown 8m (9yd) in white 2m (2yd) in red You will also need; 1 pair of no 3.25 mm needles, a small amount of wadding, a small piece of stiff cardboard or plastic and a wool sewing needle.
