A vintage-inspired squishy soft baby blanket using a lace shell repeat pattern. A light and airy baby blanket that is suitable for Summer but also for keeping a small baby cosy and swaddled. The blanket used 3 x 100g balls of yarn.

You can use any DK Weight/Light Worsted Weight yarn to make this blanket. You can also use a different yarn weight to make a smaller or larger blanket, using a matching hook but keep in mind your yardage requirements will vary. Instructions are given to make the blanket pictured in this pattern. You can make a smaller or larger blanket by chaining a shorter or longer foundation chain.
