Lace Mandala Cushion Pillow

Inspired by the open-work lace designs of Turkish Oya, this Lace Mandala Cushion gives the illusion of a blooming Mandala flower, resulting in negative space. The decorative edging & change of colors are the only exceptions because of which it falls under the intermediate pattern category. The crocheted work involved is less than it appears to be due to negative spaces. Pattern has several picture tutorials.

• Skill: Intermediate, Basic sewing skills required.
• Yarn Weight: Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi) for 18 inch pillow. Light worsted weight yarn for 24 inch pillow.
