This lace vest is an adaptation of the popular Butterfly dress. The same 8 row lace pattern is used, and the vest has a beaded st st edging at the neck. The pattern has instructions for sizes 32-40ins/81-102cms. Although the yarn is very fine, the recommended needle size is for 5mm - giving a lovely, cobwebby effect. The sample used approx. 120 x 3mm glass beads in assorted colours.
