This waistcoat is knitted using modular patchwork techniques. It is knitted in a continuous piece with sections being joined while knitting and all the edges are finished with I-cord.
The yarn has a long colour change which emphasies the direction of the knitting. The pattern is written in such a way that it is possible to knit the garment in other yarns e.g. Noro Silk Garden Light.
