Inspired by the formal gardens of Lanhydrock, a magnificent Cornish stately home, this shawl features lattice patterns, leaves, and a delicate trim, which is knitted on.
The sample pictured is knitted in 4 ply, but I think it will work equally well in a lighter-weight yarn.
The main shawl is worked from a tab cast on, and the trim is knitted on.
It is optional to add beads to the trim- this is more to help with blocking than a design feature. You will need 42, and an appropriate crochet hook to add them.
I have recommended three skeins. I only used two, but I used them up completely- a full 400m. It is probably best to purchase three.
