Latte e Miele is a quick triangular shawl with increases at both ends and along the center stitch. The shawl features a stripe sequence for the first section, a lovely lace pattern for the edging and picot bind off for a fancy look.
The lace pattern is available in charts only.
Size: one (customizable).
Sample shown in Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend (70% merino 30% silk; 150 yds/137 m per 50 gr): MC: 2 skeins shown in Mediterranean; CC: 1 skein shown in Bering.
Or approx. MC 300 yds/274 m CC 150 yds/137 m of sport/DK weight yarn. Please note that I used exactly 3 skeins of yarn. If you want to add length to the shawl you will need more yardage!
Gauge after blocking: 18 sts & 29 rows = 4 inches/ 10 cm in stst on smaller needle. 17 sts & 24 rows = 4 inches/ 10 cm in lace pattern on larger needle.
