Leaves and Cables Scarf

Skill: Intermediate, cast on with two needles or provisional cast on

Size: Adult (Length: 34.5”, Wide: 5”)

Gauge: 20 sts x 25 rows = 4” x 4” in Stocking sts

Needles I used: Three US#7 (4.5 mm) Double Pointed Needles, Cable needle, Yarn needle

Yarn needed: Category 4 medium worsted weight yarn approx. 164 yds

Yarn I used in pictures: 65% Acrylic, 35% Wool Lion Brand Martha Stewart Crafts Extra Soft Wool Blend Color #544 Lilac

Stitches I used: K = Knit P = Purl YO = Yarn Over K2tog = Knit-two-together SSK = Slip-Slip-Knit Kfb = Knit front and back Pfb = Purl front and back SK2PO = Slip1, K2tog, Pass slipped stitch over C4F = Put 2 sts on your cable needle and hold in front of your work, knit next 2 sts and then knit 2 sts from your cable needle C4B = Put 2 sts on your cable needle and hold in back of your work, knit next 2 sts and then knit 2 sts from your cable needle
