This stretchy, bulky cowl will keep your neck and face warm on sub-freezing days. The would-be boring ribbing is jazzed up with twists and twisted stitches and a center panel features an arrowhead motif to reflect Legolas’ weapon of choice.
Notes:
This pattern includes both charts and written instructions.
A bulky or aran weight yarn will work, but a stretchy yarn would be best.
The finished cowl is a little tricky to block. The sample was placed over a lampshade and then only the panel was soaked with water and wool wash and left to dry. This way the ribbing doesn’t get loose or unstretchy.
