This sock was inspired by Legolas Greenleaf, sylvan elf and member of the Fellowship as it left Rivendell in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Fellowship of the Ring.
The pattern has been thoroughly knit-tested and proofread by others, to whom I owe quite a lot! Thank you so much. Nevertheless, my own editing has left a couple of problems in the pattern. Here are some corrections: -In the large size, while working the heel flap, work 8 pattern repeats, not 10, in order to keep the correct stitch count. -The Large Left Top of Foot Chart and the Small Left Top of Foot Chart have both been mislabeled. They should be switched.
Skill Level: Intermediate; Pattern assumes basic knowledge of top-down sock construction, cabling, decreases, yarn overs, lace, and chart reading (which is very important!).
