The Leoma shawl is a small but substantial shawl that’s perfect for layering up in transitional weather or cooler evenings. The shadowy, slightly irregular stripes are inspired by sunlight slanting through a canopy of trees. A small number of stitches is cast on to start at one point, and increases are worked along one edge for a triangular shawl. The shawl is designed to use two 50 gram skeins of the main colour, and one skein of the contrast colour. The Fibre Co. Luma is a soft DK yarn with amazing drape that perfectly highlights the textured stitches. A yarn with good weight and drape allows the shawl to sit nicely on the shoulders.
