While the pattern is the same for either the snow or African leopard (only the colors change), the attributes are different.

Yarn in desired color(s) and weight (~3oz/50g for sport weight; ~12oz/350g for worsted)
Medium dark and dark contrast yarn for embroidering spots
Darker contrast yarn for eyes and nose
Knitting needles at least 2 sizes smaller than those recommended for the yarn being used
Stuffing
Tapestry needle
