A simple but effective lightning bolt design gives a striking touch to these socks with a reverse heel and inset toe. Worked from the cuff down using a square heel.
Description - Basic stitches used throughout, with standard decreases. Previous experience making socks may be useful.
Sizes - S, M, L (Foot circumference: 17.5cm/7", 20cm/8",22.5cm/ 9")
Yarn - 100g (400m/425yards) 4ply/fingering/sock weight yarn (I recommend a blend with at least 20% nylon or silk.)
Needle - 2.5mm circular needle (min 80cm recommended for magic loop)
Notions - Yarn needle, 3 x Stitch Marker
Gauge - 8 stitches by 12 rows over 10cm (4”) in stocking (stockinette) stitch
