Lionel Long Neck is a nice chunky dinosaur which can be knitted by a complete beginner. To complete Lionel the skills needed are:
- Cast on - Knit stitch - Knit front and back of a stitch - knit 2 stitches together - Cast off
When completed Lionel measures 21inches tall X 24 inches long, he can be completed in any colour, so enjoy choosing you favourite colour combinations.
Lionel's pattern uses Paintbox Simply chunky but should you wish to knit a smaller dinosaur Dk can also be used (this will affect the quantity of wool and stufing needed).
Lionel does require some sewing to complete his eyes, I use felt but other non-fraying fabric will work.
