You'll need about 30g of 100% cotton DK for the body and a small amount of yarn in a contrast shade for the wings.
Stitches used: slst = Slip Stitch, ch = Chain, dc = Double Crochet (sc for US), tr = Treble Crochet (dc for US), htr = Half Treble Crochet (hdc for US).
Special stitches (tutorials in pattern); dc2tog = double crochet 2 stitches together (sc2tog for US), Magic circle.
