This fun little fox scarf for kids and adults is knit in garter stitch and ribbing, making it a perfect pattern for an advanced beginner. You'll need to know how to Cast On, Bind Off, Knit, Purl, Increase (KFB) and Decrease (K2tog and SSK). The ears are attached with a 3-Needle Join, instructions included. Except for there face, you'll be measuring inches rather than counting rows. A great take-along project for knitters on-the-go.
Choose from a Grey, Red or Arctic Fox. Each scarf requires 3 colors of plain plied yarn in DK or Worsted weight such as Red Heart Supersaver or Caron Simply Soft. The pattern includes suggested colors in Supersaver, though many other brands have equivalent options. You can even knit a scarf in team or school colors (a purple or blue fox?).
The pattern has lots of photos, and graphs plus written instructions for each fox face. Also included are foxy gift tags for you to print.
