The little granny squares for this blanket are simple to make in any type of yarn. This pattern calls for cool, cuddly ombre cotton. Small 3" (8 cm) motifs are quick & easy to crochet; and the more you make, the larger your blanket can be. A great way to use up scrap yarn, too. Photo tutorial will show, quite simply, how to work a duplicate stitch. This will create a tidy finish to each square which will make it easier to neatly slip stitch seams together. An abbreviation key with descriptions + instructions for joining and adding a border are included.
