This is a lovely neat fitting sweater for a small dog, designed for Mabel, the miniature Schnauzer and features a lovely xmas fair isle design. The instructions have been written for a plain version of this sweater and the fair isle design has been fully charted in colour for ease of following.
It has been designed in two pieces, making it a fairly straightfrward make, as there are no complex stitch combinations. It is suitable for someone with a little bit of experience knitting, who is familiar with charts and picking up stitches.
THe final measurements of this sweater are:
Collar to hem (back): 43cm
Collar to hem (Front): 39.5cm
Chest: 44cm
Hind (waist): 36cm
Shoulder to front legs: 11.5cm
Between front legs: 11cm
I have suggested Rowan Pure Wool Worsted yard, just one ball of this yarn completes the plain version. It is a machine washable yarn that is robust.
