The Sample was knit in Mirasol Yarn which supports the Mirasol project, supporting children of the alpaca farmers in the Andes. This is no longer available but Mans del Uruaguay silk mix would give the same effect.
Tension: 20sts and 30 rows to 10cm.

3.75mm Needles
I started with appropriate sock needles, transferring to a short cable circular, then a longer cable circular as the blanket grew.
Magic loop or other method of working small circumferences in the round would also work.
