A beautifully simple crochet market bag tote. This pattern is suitable for beginners+ as it only uses double crochet/treble crochet.
Pattern written in UK Terms (US abbreviations listed)
Hook: 4mm
Yarn: any DK cotton – I used Paintbox DK Cotton (50g/125m/137yd) 100% cotton in shade 403; Light Champagne. (5 balls)
Alternate yarn: you will need approx. 250g of dk cotton.
Gauge: Tension is not essential for this project but is as follows: 15 sts x 9 rows = 10cm x 10cm worked in treble crochet
Measurements: Finished bag measure approx. 38cm wide x 43cm (not including handles)
Also needed: Tapestry Needle, Scissors, Stitch markers x4
