MARY mixes lots of colours to create this cosy cowl. Knitted in a simple lacy wavy stitch on oversized needles, the random stripes create a really easy – but eye catching - design.
SIZE Completed cowl measures 71 cm (28 in) all round and is 33 cm (13 in) deep.
MATERIALS Willow & Lark Heath 1 x 50g ball in each of 5 colours – A (yellow – Beehive 006), B (blue – Seaglass Blue 009), C (red – Cardinal 004), D (grey – Ash 002) and E (plum – Dahlia 005)
1 pair 5½mm (no 5) (US 9) needles
Note: If you choose to knit this cowl in just one colour, you will need 95g of yarn in total.
TENSION 1 patt rep (18 sts) and 22 rows to 4 in (10 cm) measured over patt using 5½mm (US 9) needles.
